We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activity Aide to join our team and help create a vibrant and engaging environment for our residents. In this role, you will work alongside our Activities Director to develop and implement a variety of recreational programs and events that cater to the interests and abilities of our residents.

The ideal candidate will have a background in recreational therapy, social work, or a related field, and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In addition, we are looking for someone who is creative, energetic, and has a genuine passion for working with seniors.

As an Activity Aide, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the planning and coordination of daily activities and special events
• Facilitating group activities such as games, crafts, and exercise classes
• Providing one-on-one support and companionship to residents
• Encouraging resident participation and engagement in activities
• Documenting resident participation and feedback
• Collaborating with staff, residents, and families to ensure a positive and fulfilling experience
